The purpose of this page is to help you find information about lakes and rivers located within Provided below is a listing of all of the lakes in the county. Each listed lake is linked to the MN DNR lakefinder site. By clicking on a lake name, you will be taken to that lake's listing on the DNR site, where you can get lake reports and maps if they are available. The picture below shows an example of the search results for Bass Lake (#31051100) located in Itasca County. The checkmarks indicate which pieces of information are available for this lake. When you get to a results page, just click the checkmark to get more information.  You may notice that there are often two or more lakes with the same name. However, each has it's own unique ID number, and that is how the DNR identifies them. The DNR Recreation Compass maps should help you determine which lake you are actually looking for. NOTE: Most, though not all, of the lakes in the county have been mapped by the DNR. Therefore, you may encounter a Lake Finder page that has no links to maps.
